Google Ads Lead Generation Sydney

Get More Qualified Leads From Google Ads, Not Just More Clicks

Google Ads lead generation can be a strong source of qualified enquiries for Sydney service businesses, but only when the targeting, tracking and campaign structure are set up properly.

I help Sydney service businesses use Google Ads to generate more qualified phone calls, form enquiries and genuine sales opportunities.

The focus isn’t traffic for the sake of traffic.

It’s getting your business in front of people who are actively looking for what you provide, tracking what happens after they click, and reducing the money being wasted on searches that are unlikely to turn into customers.

Why Businesses Choose Me for Google Ads Lead Generation

Google Ads Lead Generation Experience

I manage Google Ads for service and B2B businesses where the goal is qualified enquiries, phone calls and real sales opportunities, not just clicks and impressions.

Better Search Term & Keyword Control

I review the actual searches triggering your ads, tighten keyword targeting and add negative keywords to reduce wasted spend on irrelevant or low-intent traffic.

Conversion & Lead Tracking

I check whether Google is measuring genuine enquiries properly, including form submissions, phone calls and other important lead actions, so campaigns optimise towards the right results.

Ongoing Support & Optimisation

I continually review campaign performance, search terms, locations, budgets, bidding and lead quality to improve efficiency and reduce spend that isn’t producing useful enquiries.

What Clients Say

Google Ads Lead Generation FAQs

If your Google Ads are generating clicks but not enough qualified enquiries, the problem could be your keywords, search terms, location targeting, conversion tracking, campaign structure or landing pages.

Here are some common questions from service businesses looking to improve their Google Ads lead generation.

Is Google Ads good for lead generation? +
Yes. Google Ads can be particularly effective for lead generation because it allows you to reach people while they are actively searching for a service you provide. The key is targeting the right searches, tracking genuine enquiries properly and controlling wasted spend.
What types of businesses do you manage lead generation Google Ads for? +
I work with selected service and B2B businesses, including trades, commercial service providers, specialist contractors, professional services, installers, maintenance businesses and other companies where customers actively search Google for their services.
Why am I getting Google Ads clicks but not enough enquiries? +
Common causes include poor keyword targeting, irrelevant search terms, weak landing pages, incorrect location settings, poor conversion tracking or campaigns attracting people who are researching rather than ready to make an enquiry.
Why are my Google Ads leads poor quality? +
Poor-quality leads often come from overly broad targeting, weak negative keyword coverage, incorrect locations, automated campaigns chasing the wrong conversions or Google receiving poor conversion signals.
Can you check whether my Google Ads conversion tracking is correct? +
Yes. I can review whether enquiry forms, phone calls and other important lead actions are being measured correctly. I also check whether low-value actions or outdated conversions are incorrectly being used as primary campaign goals.
Can you track phone calls from Google Ads? +
Yes. Google Ads can track calls made directly from ads and, depending on the setup, calls made after someone visits your website. Call duration thresholds can also help distinguish genuine enquiries from very short or accidental calls.
Should service businesses use Search campaigns or Performance Max? +
For many service businesses, I prefer a strong Search campaign foundation because it gives greater control over keywords and search intent. Performance Max can work for lead generation, but I do not recommend using it automatically simply because Google suggests it.
Can you review the search terms that are wasting my Google Ads budget? +
Yes. I look for irrelevant searches, weak-intent searches, jobs, DIY searches, locations you do not service and other traffic that is unlikely to become a customer.
What is a good cost per lead from Google Ads? +
There is no useful universal benchmark. A $50 lead can be expensive if a customer is only worth $100, while a $300 lead can be very profitable if a new customer is worth $10,000. Lead cost needs to be considered alongside lead quality, close rate, customer value and margin.
How much should I spend on Google Ads for lead generation? +
It depends on your industry, service area, competition, cost per click and the number of leads you want to generate. I prefer reviewing the available search demand and likely click costs before recommending a sensible budget.
How quickly can Google Ads start generating leads? +
Search campaigns can start producing traffic and enquiries soon after launch, but that does not mean the campaign is fully optimised. The first few weeks are normally used to gather search, conversion and lead-quality data so targeting and budgets can be improved.
Can you improve my existing Google Ads account without rebuilding everything? +
Yes. I prefer reviewing the existing account first because it often contains valuable historical data. If parts of the account are working, I would rather preserve them and fix the problem areas than rebuild everything unnecessarily.
Do I need a new landing page before running Google Ads? +
Not necessarily. Sometimes an existing page is perfectly capable of converting Google Ads traffic with a few improvements. If I think your landing page is hurting campaign performance, I will tell you before recommending that you spend more on advertising.
Is the Google Ads audit really free? +
Yes. The initial review is free and there is no obligation to proceed. I will identify the priority issues I can see and explain whether I think the account needs minor changes, a larger cleanup or ongoing management.
Can you manage my Google Ads after the audit? +
Yes. If the account is a good fit, I can help with Google Ads management, conversion tracking, campaign restructuring, search term optimisation, location targeting, bidding, budgets and ongoing performance improvement.
Do you only work with businesses in Sydney? +
No. I am based in Sydney, but I work with businesses throughout Australia. Google Ads account reviews and ongoing management can be handled remotely by phone, email and Google Meet.
